International conference Youth and Violence

Cordaid organizes, in cooperation with Socires and Radio Netherlands Worldwide a three-day conference about youth and violence.
The focus is on a comparision between the situation in The Netherlands and Central America, where youth gangs form a source of insecurity in the larger cities.
The goal is to discuss ideas and practice about research and analyses, about repression and prevention of violence by youth (gangs), about the protection of youth and the reintegration of young ex-delinquents and ex-gang members.
