Company Monitor Philips Mexico - Summary
por Gilberto Ortiz
This report summarises the main findings of a research conducted in 2005 on Philips Mexicana’s
operations and subsidiaries in Mexico. The research focused on labour conditions, including the
free exercise of the rights to join a trade union and conduct trade union activities, working
conditions, and issues related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The study attempts to
combine recognition of progress in these areas and identification of some related problems, and
incorporate these considerations within a dialogue among the social actors.
